Jeff and Kelly Hill opened MJM Hill Driving School in Green County over 30 years ago with their own children in mind. What started as Monroe’s driver’s ed has expanded to serve families across southwestern Wisconsin. Today, MJM Hill Driving School is recognized as one of the most established driving schools in Monroe and the surrounding counties.Â
We continually update our training using the latest Wisconsin driver’s education guidelines and safety research. Our flexible system of classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction allows students to complete required driver’s ed hours while building real-world driving confidence.

Kelly Hill
Owner/founder
Kelly Hill is the founder of MJM Hill Driving School, building the company from the ground up almost 30 years ago with a family‑first mission to provide safe, supportive, and accessible driver education for every household.
​Kelly Hill founded MJM Hill Driving School nearly 30 years ago with one priority at the center of everything she does: creating a safe, trustworthy learning environment for young drivers. As a mother of three and the wife of a Wisconsin State Trooper — with a son who also serves as a State Trooper — Kelly brings a deep, personal understanding of safety, responsibility, and community service to the way our school operates. Families can feel confident knowing the program was built by someone who has spent decades committed to protecting and guiding young people on the road.

Josh leads our instructor team and oversees day-to-day operations at MJM Hill Driving School. With years of experience teaching teens and adults, he focuses on building calm, confident drivers through clear communication, patience, and real-world practice.
​Josh brings years of real‑world driving experience to MJM Hill Driving School, backed by his CDL and a career spent hauling heavy equipment across North America. He’s calm, steady, and has navigated every kind of road and weather — giving students a safe, confident learning environment. With several relatives in law enforcement, Josh also carries a strong appreciation for responsibility and smart decision‑making behind the wheel. Families can trust that their teens are learning from someone who truly understands safety.
Julie Knoke

With a calm teaching style and a genuine passion for helping teens grow into confident, capable drivers, she’s the kind of instructor students instantly feel comfortable with. She brings years of real‑world driving experience, a patient approach, and a talent for breaking down even the trickiest skills into simple, stress‑free steps.
Julie is a Monroe native who knows families throughout the surrounding communities. She’s constantly running into kids she’s met over the years — often asking if she knows their mom or dad — and brings that tight‑knit, hometown connection to every lesson. After several years with MJM Hill Driving School, Julie offers a warm, familiar presence that helps students feel comfortable and supported behind the wheel.

Her background in youth instruction and her strong communication with parents make her a standout in our program. She’s dependable, encouraging, and fully committed to helping every student become a responsible, skilled driver who’s ready for the road.

Sherri provides expert guidance for all learners, focusing on defensive driving and real-world scenarios.
